Summary:So…you'd think after banishing an immortal being and a fallen High Priestess, saving Stark’s life, biting Heath, getting a headache from Erik, and almost dying, Zoey Redbird would catch a break. Sadly, a break is not in the House of Night school forecast for the High Priestess in training and her gang. Juggling three guys is anything but a stress reliever, especially when one of them is a sexy Warrior who is so into protecting Zoey that he can sense her emotions. Speaking of stress, the dark force lurking in the tunnels under the Tulsa Depot is spreading, and Zoey is beginning to believe Stevie Rae could be responsible for a lot more than a group of misfit red fledglings. Aphrodite’s visions warn Zoey to stay away from Kalona and his dark allure, but they also show that it is Zoey who has the power to stop the evil immortal. Soon it becomes obvious that Zoey has no choice: if she doesn’t go to Kalona he will exact a fiery vengeance on those closest to her. Review:
Okay where do I start first things off after my read on Tempted my whole outlook on Hunted changed for one let me tell you how P.C Cast should have merged Hunted and Tempted into one cause now I see how pointless it was to be on its own now I do realize it did indeed drag on . In Tempted we see the same issues going on as in Hunted yet once again Zoey Dreaming off Kalona issues with now 4 guys yadda yadda, but what is different is we have other characters point of views which I found very refreshing! From Aphrodite and Darius which I'm starting to have a very soft spot for this couple I love how they can be real with each other honest and rough and Now to Stevie Rae and her deep dark secrets still in the Tulsa tunnels or rather large handsome secret she is keeping enter Rephaim, I love how his character is trying to figure out who he is now what his purpose is now and why Stevie Rae is now bound to him by a special imprint never saw that coming or did I? Which makes me question now if Imprints are so strong how are they so easy to break and be done over and over again? Now what happen with Heath the lost puppy who followed Zoey around I found really unfair I know they had history by that's why it's in the past, sure I wasn't a fan of his but he didn't deserve what happen. Erik how he gets under my skin I'm glad Zoey did what she did! I'm excited for the Stark and Zoey, relationship it's starting off slow but its sweet also what did they think was going to happen going to Italy rainbow and kittens, I think Zoey still needs some improvement on the decisions she makes and needs to step up her game I know she is only 17 but hey when you saved the world that should be your wake-up call. The thing I found with Tempted it was more layed back and honest you connected with the characters on a deeper level and it kept you entertained .
My Final Thoughts:
I found myself excited with every page I never wanted to put it down it was the excitement I felt from when I read the first book I know it’s been getting slack for being such a long series 9 books in total but sometimes when the wheels start turning you just got to go with the flow and hope for the best so don't let those reviews get you down (I myself was one of them) if you really enjoyed the book series don't listen to anyone and praise them
